Abstracts and Works in Progress

Submission Guidelines

ISCAP seeks to encourage the development of new research through the presentation of Abstracts and Works in Progress (WIP). These sessions provide an excellent venue for authors to receive early feedback on emerging ideas, explore new research directions, and solicit potential collaborators or co-authors.

Submission Requirements

Authors should prepare and submit the following information through the ISCAP Papers Management System

  1. Title
  2. Authors: Name, institutional affiliation, and email address
  3. General Track / Subject Area (refer to the conference website for a list of tracks)
  4. Abstract:
    • Maximum of 500 words
    • One optional short bibliography may be included
      • The bibliography does not count toward the word limit
      • Any standard citation format may be used
    • Abstracts may include one (1) figure or diagram in addition to the text
Review and Publication

Submitted abstracts and works in progress will be considered for presentation at the ISCAP Conference.

  • Abstracts and WIP submissions are not eligible for journal publication
  • Accepted abstracts will appear in the official conference proceedings
Presentation Format
  • 10 minutes for presentation
  • 5 minutes for discussion and questions
