Call for Participation
We are pleased to invite you to submit your original research and teaching papers in four focus areas:
- Information Systems & Computing Education
- Cybersecurity Pedagogy & Practice
- Information Systems Applied Research
- Data Analytics
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is included across all these focus areas, reflecting its growing impact on research and education.

The Conference solicits traditional scholarly papers, teaching cases with notes and materials, as well as abstracts, workshops, and panel discussions.
ISCAP prides itself on being a developmental venue with members who are collegial, constructive and friendly. We welcome papers from faculty at all levels, graduate students and industry professionals.
Submission Types
Our five submission types are all submitted via the Paper System, which guides you through the process.
- Research Papers – New research with appropriate methodology and literature review.
- Teaching Activities & Case Studies – With detailed instructor guidance.
- Abstracts – Early-stage research (up to 500 words).
- Workshops – Interactive educator sessions (deadline: 7/15, subject to space availability).
- Panels – Expert discussions on relevant topics.

Deadlines
- April 15 – Paper system opens.
- June 15 – Award consideration deadline for papers and cases. Early bird registration deadline. Priority deadline for panel & workshop proposals.
- July 15 – Journal consideration and conference proceedings deadline for papers and cases. Final deadline for panel & workshop proposals.
- August 17 – Abstract deadline to present at the conference and appear in the proceedings. Consider an abstract if you cannot meet the paper deadlines.
Journal Opportunities
Accepted conference papers may be revised and resubmitted in early January for consideration (via a second round of reviews) in one of our journals (see below). If accepted for publication, the proceedings paper will be replaced with the abstract and a link to the full journal version.

The best paper in each focus area and best teaching case will be fast-tracked to the appropriate journal (ISEDJ, JISARA, or CPPJ) upon resubmission and an editor desk check.

The overall best paper that reflects pedagogy research will be fast-tracked to JISE, our premier journal.
