ISCAP Conference

Data Analytics Call for Participation

A supportive venue for emerging data analytics research in information systems, computing, and applied analytics.

The ISCAP Conference welcomes data analytics research that advances understanding of data-driven decision making, analytics education, applied methods, and real-world applications. Data analytics is a growing area in the ISCAP program and we hope to expand it further in 2026.

ISCAP offers a collegial, feedback-oriented environment that is particularly well suited for faculty who are newer to data analytics research, developing new lines of inquiry, or transitioning into analytics from related areas such as information systems, computer science, business analytics, or cybersecurity.

Why Submit a Data Analytics Paper?
  • Constructive feedback from experienced IS and computing educators
  • A manageable conference size that encourages meaningful discussion
  • An opportunity to refine early-stage or exploratory analytics work
  • A strong pathway to journal publication
Relevant Topics Include
  • Applied data analytics and visualization
  • Predictive and descriptive analytics
  • Analytics pedagogy and curriculum design
  • Data analytics tools, platforms, and case studies
  • Ethics, governance, and responsible analytics

The top analytics papers presented at the conference are invited to submit improved papers to the Journal of Information Systems Applied Research and Analytics (JISARA). If accepted for journal publication, the proceedings paper is replaced with the abstract and a link to the full journal version. The best paper in analytics will be fast-tracked to JISARA upon resubmission and an editor desk check.

If you are developing analytics research and looking for a conference that values mentorship, dialogue, and scholarly growth, ISCAP is an excellent place to present your work and engage with a supportive academic community.
